Eine Wand aus Glasbausteinen – Resultat der Architektur der 50er/60er Jahre. Teils verhüllend/verbergend, teils durchlässig/transparent. Die Glasbausteinen ermöglichen dem Betrachter von außen einen voyeuristischen Blick ins innere des Gebäudes, ohne aber das innere Geschehen vollkommen Preis zu geben. Ein Spannungsfeld zwischen Außen und Innen entsteht. Eine Wand wird zur Fläche, zum Raster, zum Pixeln, zum Display. Das statische Raster aus Beton und Glas trifft auf die Dynamik von Licht und neuen Technologien. Gegebenes wird transformiert, verändert und in neue Kontexte eingebettet.

A wall made of glass bricks – it is a result of an architecture of the 1950/ 1960s. Partly cloaking/ concealing, partly permeable/ transparent. The glass bricks allows a voyeuristic view of the inside of the building, but not everything, only a small part. A tension between outside and inside arises. A wall becomes a surface, a grid, a pixel, a display. The static grid of concrete and glass encounters the dynamic of light and new technologies. Existent things will be transformed, modified and embedded in new contexts.
